Transforming connection points for big brands

The Pandemic broke a lot of things. It fragmented our communities.

Smashed our social circles to pieces.

CTRL. ALT. Deleted our third places.

Where does that leave us?

The nomads. the drifters. The skaters?

We receded into the web. Scrounging to rebuild. Make connections on platforms like reddit, tiktok...4chan? That’s dark bro.

But we were lost. We lacked guidance. We lost Our Roots.

But what if there was a place. A place crafted just for us. mixxing our need and want for digitized spaces but letting us connect IRL in real time with other skaters?

Why An APP?

Community Building

Building safe spaces not only for seasoned skaters but for marginalized thrill seekers lke BIPOC and LGBTQ+ Skaters is Cruicial to staying in touch with their new found consumers.

Capitalism

An app would be a great way into first hand data collection of consumers. Making it way easier to suggest products and stay on top of trends via social listening.

Re-Centering Vans

The App experience will once again bring vans to the forefront of the skate community. By acting as the glue that brings everyone together both digitally and IRL vans will earn the crown.

How we make it different

Connecting iRL Will always be the main priority.

Getting everyone to get out and skate. But how do we help with accessibility while also doing something

Off The Wall?

Go back to your roots

Games like Skate and Tony Hawk have always been a part of the culture, but now we allow users to live out those experiences.

By Creating a Pokemon Go! Skate Experience. Using map data and user submissions users can find the best places to skate.

Key Skate Spots Highlighted

Our platform identifies and showcases the most iconic skate spots in the area. These are the places where skaters converge, where legends are made, and where communities thrive.

Skate Masters

We celebrate diversity and inclusion by featuring BIPOC skate figures and personalities as "Skate Masters." These individuals are icons in the skating community, representing different styles, backgrounds, and stories.

Challenge the Skate Master

Engage with the community by challenging a Skate Master. To do this, participants physically go to a skate spot and attempt a trick. They then submit a video of their attempt, similar to popular platforms like BeReal or TikTok.

Localized Submissions

All submissions are specific to localized skate spots. This fosters a sense of community and encourages exploration of different areas. Plus, it allows participants to showcase their skills in their own neighborhoods.
